How every Premier League XI looks if you take away all in-season signings

The summer transfer window will never quite be the same after a majority of 14 Premier League clubs voted for the transfer window to be moved forward from the end of August to before the start of the season.

From next season onwards, Premier League clubs will have to secure their signings before a ball is kicked and next season’s deadline will be August 9th which incidentally is just 24 days after the World Cup final.
Interestingly, Manchester United, Manchester City, Watford, Crystal Palace and Swansea City, were the clubs to vote against the proposal while Burnley abstained from voting either way.
However, they will all have to comply with the new rules after the other Premier League clubs decided that a change to the current system would be beneficial, including Spurs who are notorious for getting their business done late in the summer.
It will be fascinating to see what impact moving the deadline forward by three weeks will have on Premier League clubs particularly when there is a major tournament going on and if other major leagues fail to follow suit.
Taking the above into consideration, Squawka had a look at how the current 20 Premier League clubs would line up without players that were signed after next year’s deadline of August 9th.
Based on our findings, the deadline day change will barely impact some clubs, but for others, a complete change in transfer strategy might have to be considered.
